Some of the most meaningful growth in my life has come from moments that first felt like setbacks.
I have learned to use challenges as fuel, to turn hardship into direction, and to trust that not every next step is visible right away. Sometimes a chapter ends before you understand why, and only later do you realize it was making room for something greater.
Yesterday, I officially earned my Clinical Medical Assistant certification.
For me, this is more than another credential. As a clinic manager, I believe leadership should come with knowledge, confidence, accountability, and the willingness to step in when your team needs you.
I want to understand the work, respect what my team does every day, maintain high standards, and be able to stand beside them when things get busy, whether that means taking vitals, drawing blood, assisting with patient care, or starting an IV.
Proud of this milestone, but even more proud of the person and leader I continue to become.
Sometimes the path changes not to stop you, but to lead you somewhere you were ready to grow into.
