We are so thrilled to sponsor ’s Where Are All the Black People? Conference this week. The annual conference celebrates Black voices and works to correct the scarcity of people of color within the advertising industry.

The free (!!) event kicks off this week on Thursday, 10/6 with a virtual career fair, followed by an in-person day on Friday, 10/7 in NYC. The conference will have some amazing keynote speakers, a station for headshots, and breakout sessions, in addition to portfolio reviews and recruiting.

Some of our favorite shots from our recent campaign work with that spark much joy. ✨

Connecting with these three creators on an emotional level to learn about their careers, passions, and lives was key to understanding Teachable’s impactful role in reshaping the way they work and earn a living. Knowledge has value and that foundation, paired with fluid product animation and a strong typographic system, resulted in a campaign that effortlessly reflects Teachable’s core beliefs.

Early in our career, most of us had no idea on what made a great Directing or Design Reel. In addition, no one was open to sharing what that formula was. That is why we feel fortunate to have Emily Elizabeth, Director at .films , speaking to our community on "Building the Reel".

This session is a 101 on what you need to know. Emily will share the pieces that she created at various phases of her career and also explain how she got them all made. This is a rare peek into how a successful director in the film and commercial industry really does it.

Emily will also share a wide range of work from film trailers, spec spots, broadcast commercials, passion projects, etc. and display how important it is to continue to build the reel on your own, even after you've been signed.

One week until we find out if we’re Agency of The Year! During this time of great anticipation, we’re reflecting on some of the incredible work that helped us snag the nomination this year. Our animation was inspired by the paintings of Sibling Rivalry Design Director and artist , which were brought to life by the SR animation team led by .
