SUNDAY IS THE APPLICATION DEADLINE!

The New York Association of Black Journalists' teen journalism program, First Take, is accepting applications for the 2026 workshop. First Take provides FREE hands-on journalism training to teens in the New York metro area. The 2026 program will be held Saturdays from Feb. 7 to March 14.

The application deadline is Dec. 7, 2025.

Teens can apply at www.nyabj.org.
