No, I don’t teach Meisner or Strasberg or Adler. They were all great but frankly - they all passed away. And I'm pretty sure they would not approve of those who say they teach "Meisner".  If those masters were to sit in their protégé’s classes they would most certainly shout out, "Hey, sir or lady, That's not ME!  Why don’t you teach YOU?" So I teach Simon.  That's ME.  And I believe if they're honest, that's what good teachers really do anyway - teach themselves!  The reality is that today Meisner and Strasberg are now marketing tools.  Everyone thinks they want it. It's very fashionable."

What's great about having THE SIMON STUDIO since 1978 is watching my talented former students like film director Jay Stern.
He went on to become successful and we ended up working together later✨
I was acting for Jay yesterday - April 3 - on the NJ set of THE DREAM, a wonderful adaptation of Jorge Luis Borges' short stories.
It gave me the opportunity to be also reunited with fellow cast mates Ramona Floyd, Mickey Ryan and Joe Franchini.
We were all working professionally together again after previous SIMON STUDIO experiences.
That's a great feeling! -

Thank you @marybonczek
.

......one of the responsibilities of being an actor is to always continue honing your craft, becoming part of the Simon Studios is the way to do it. Roger is an excellent teacher/ director/ actor who has well over 50 years experience who has work with many of the "greats of the business" . He expects no less than 100%. He guides, molds and motivates his students. His passion shows in his attention to detail as the actors work on their scenes/ monologues. He helps the actor grow in his approach. As students we are expected , not only to work on contemporary pieces, but studying classics such as Shakespeare, Chekov and Williams are a requirement. The actors get to present their hard work on scene nights, where industry professionals , family and friends are invited to watch actors work in development. With Roger's teaching and the support of many wonderful associate directors, an actor excels!
