In honour of 2026, we’re celebrating our founder Helen, who started Dutch Uncle at just 26 years old with pure ambition and relentless determination.

From those early days to building an international agency representing world-class illustrators, Helen has led with creativity, resilience, good humour, and a truly global outlook.

Her energy, instinct, and commitment continue to shape everything we do.

Thank you, Helen, for the passion you bring to the company every single day — and to all the women pushing creative industries forward.

Noma Bar x Gr**go
Nordic Coffee Roasters / Sweden

There’s nothing better than seeing an artist’s work leap onto a brand-new canvas — especially when that canvas is coffee.

So when came to us with this collaboration, we were genuinely buzzing to see what would create.

Noma designed the full identity for The Hobo, including a bespoke take on the Hobo typeface.

The result is packaging that feels as strong and grounded as the espresso inside it.

Animated beautifully by .pixel.

Noma Bar x Sartorius
A global campaign rolling out across multiple
markets.
Noma Bar created a series of visuals and animations for Sartorius, now live across print and digital channels worldwide.
The work appears here in Japan, Boston, and Suzhou, adapted for multiple formats and platforms. Each image follows the same visual
logic: clear ideas, reduced forms, and smart messages that read quickly across cultures.Sartorius operates in highly technical fields. The
campaign focuses on making that work legible and consistent, wherever it is seen. Same system. Different places. Shared understanding.

SPOKES / Brian Rea x Foscarini

When Brian Rea first saw Spokes, he couldn’t help but imagine a curious, smiling creature - admiring it, playing with it, until it becomes part of its life.

Working with Bruno Persico for the animation ... “We saw surprise, joy, and happiness in Spokes,” says Rea. “It’s such a calm, warm lamp, whether it’s on or off. We wanted to capture that feeling.”

I WANT A LIGHT TO EXPLORE

MADRE was born to be many things: a lamp, a vase, a domestic presence for conjuring atmosphere. An object that invites curiosity.

Behind every illustration by Brian Rea, there is a story. So when a small boy encounters the Madre lamp, he can’t resist the temptation to explore its shapes and hidden spaces—he simply dives into it.

“When I saw Madre, for both myself and animator Bruno Persico, it already felt like an animated object”, says Brian Rea. “And we wondered: how could anyone resist checking it out from within?”

Imagination is a powerful tool, one of our deepest human needs. And a design object like Madre is there to support us in this creative exercise.

Now just imagine what dreams it could awaken in your home…

BINIC DESKTOP LAMP

I WANT A LIGHT TO FEEL AT HOME

Binic feels like a memory from a vintage, cozy future. And if you look long enough at its bold, playful, slightly space-age flair, something is bound to happen.

“Binic’s shape reminds me of my two boys when we bundle them up on snowy days here in Sweden”, says Brian Rea.
“Big brother and little brother, sitting together in quiet conversation.”

Now just imagine what coziness it could bring to your home…

This week’s cover illustrated by has Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves storming out of No.10 like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid — guns blazing, budgets flying.

Labour defending the 2026 numbers like it’s The Last Stand before the credits roll.

When Jony Ive’s design collective, LoveFrom, took on the rebranding of the iconic William Stout Architectural Books in San Francisco, the result was not a thunderous overhaul but something quieter, more reverent—like finding a hand-drawn margin note in a beloved book.

At the heart of this sensitive transformation lies the work of Japanese illustrator Satoshi Hashimoto, whose warm, thoughtful illustrations breathe soul into a visual identity that could only emerge from LoveFrom’s cultivated restraint.
