John Clancy of six time Scotsman Fringe First winning Clancy Productions NYC is offering one on one sessions to those interested in attending the EFF this year or in the future. Overall strategic planning and expert marketing advice. This 3 hour session is $250.

Nancy is currently taking part in the First Irish Festival in a play called Brendan. Two performances down two more to go: Sat 9/29 @ 9 and Sun 9/30 @ 1. John is directing Jose Rivera's Marisol at Lehman College in The Bronx.
On Tuesday John & Nan fly to LA to take part in Mike Stutz' Day of the Living Festival, in which they will perform Clancy's new When You Join Us.

As Mike Stutz so eloquently writes: We’ve come together this week because creative artists should tackle tough subjects in new and entertaining ways. When there’s a topic in society that is hard to put into words that’s where artists come in. We bend it, shape it, test the limits of how it can be approached and, if we’re doing our jobs correctly, put it in a context that can open up a dialogue. We push. We prod. We encourage. Hopefully a conversation begins.

If two people have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine after the show and talk about it, even if it’s to say “man I never want to see something like that again” then they are still talking about suicide. Talk. Listen. Don’t be afraid. Don’t change the subject. Enjoy the show

We are heading over to Edinburgh in September, yes that is right September, John & Nan will be working with Peter Clerke and Catherine Gillard on a funded workshop about something, anything or nothing.

Mr. David Calvitto has finished his run. His last venue was the Citizens Theater in Glasgow to very large and appreciative audiences. He has returned to New York City with triumph from a long tour and many great accolades. D.C. we welcome you back with love, respect and open arms.

David Calvitto has returned from Australia and the Adelaide Fringe Festival and THE EVENT and David were nominated for Best Play and Best Actor respectively. Unfortunately THE EVENT did not win but our friend and actor Dave Calvitto did. Congratulations to Mr. David Calvitto.

Please come to see the "flappable or unflappable" (whichever) Matt Oberg in John Clancy's The Event. It is 63 minutes in an air-conditioned theater. (which would make me a lot more likely to come to see my friend) So now what have you got to lose. $15 bucks and an hour.
