Hornet is a multidisciplinary production studio with two decades of experience producing award-winning work.
Our work is shaped by a thoughtfully curated roster of directors whose authorship styles are as eclectic and unique as they are effective at connecting with an audience. We take a savvy development approach to building on the unique voice of our directors to transform the seeds of an idea into ambitious, beautiful, and unexpected work. For 20 years, behind every frame of every great thing we've ever done is the tireless enthusiasm and genuine love of a diverse group of folks who always put the work first.
We're thrilled to announce Hornet Director Andrew Myers has been nominated for a Webby Award. His short film "17 Small Ideas" is shortlisted in the "Weird" category. Learn more & vote: https://bit.ly/3aRpZ57

In these uncertain times, we are fully focused on doing all we can to serve and support our team, our clients, and the industry at large. We’ve already taken extra precautions to ensure a safe and productive work-from-home environment for our team, both for their safety and the broader community they might come in contact with. This way our workflow can continue uninterrupted for our clients while doing all we can to flatten the curve.
We are also continuing to monitor updates on COVID-19 and are prepared to react in keeping with the CDC’s recommendations. But perhaps the best thing we can do right now is to keep our heads up - and also put our heads down. In other words, we must remain optimistic while continuing to do and deliver good work. Because doing so will bring us together and make us stronger once these troubling times pass.
Stay safe, wash your hands, and be conscientious.
All of our best,

Cesar Pelizar creates indent for MTV based on the concept of boredom...definitely not bored by this animation though :)
"I was fortunate to be commissioned by MTV UK to work on one of their Artist Idents and the concept he was given was “Boredom”. Thinking and exploring the concept I found myself going through my own experiences with boredom and trying to think when was the first time I was aware I was bored, and it brought me back to when I was a kid laying down at my grandmother’s backyard in Brazil, on one of those long school summer breaks with nothing better to do than mess around with ants and an old beehive."
