A powerful message from an Italian Agency.
03/27/2020

A powerful message from an Italian Agency.

Despite so much uncertainty, certain facts appear indisputable. The first two that come to our mind are: the crucial importance of #books and #ideas, and the preciousness of belonging to such a special “family “ as our wonderful international publishing community.

These are the strengths that will help us navigate the challenging weeks, months ahead: Together we will find solutions to small and bigger obstacles facing our work, so that we may make sure the mission of bringing books to our #readers doesn’t stop!

What is irrefutable is that the world that will greet us when we surface from this crisis, will be a changed world presenting us with urgent social, ethical and political issues. And there will be even more desperate need of ideas, discussions and contributions, and therefore #books!

We had a wonderful experience at the Frankfurt Book Fair, at “LitAG” with its row upon row of busy tables buzzing with multimillion-dollar deal-making, now moved to a new ”Festhalle,” where it proceeds under the watchful ray of an esoteric dome, such a fitting place for the heart of the book fair. In other halls, we were glad to see titles focusing on mind, body, and spirit in several languages on display…read all about it at Library Journal:
