Although I can’t invest the time I would like into being creative, I am thankful for the time that I can create and help writers become published authors. #GiveThanks

A writing tip: Writers get bursts of content that they put to paper at a time. It is my suggestion that you proofread that segment of your writing immediately while it is fresh in your mind whether it be a sentence, paragraphs or pages. I'm almost certain that you will find typos but, because the intended content is fresh in your mind, you will remember what you were trying to say there. A full proofreading of your work can be done later when your original draft is complete and it will go a lot smoother if you use this tip. 😉

I watched two moving films this holiday weekend: "Miracles From Heaven" and "Woman in Gold," both marvelously done and based on true stories. Your life is your true story. What are you pursuing in 2017 (for self reflection only)? Faith, hope, healing, art, justice, purpose? Live your life. Write your story. Pursue!

"-Can I trust this person?
-Can I respect this person’s capabilities?
According to Cuddy’s research, 80% to 90% of a first impression is based on these two traits. Subconsciously, you and the people you meet are asking yourselves, “Can I trust that this person has good intentions toward me?” and “Is this person capable?” Dr. Travis Bradberry

AP Style tip: Anticipate means to expect and prepare for something; expect does not include the notion of preparation: They expect a record crowd. They have anticipated it by adding more seats to the auditorium.

Tip to all authors:

You must be willing to read at least once that which you have written before passing it on to your editor. This is not a rebuke; this is good, time-saving advice. #authortips ;)
