I’m looking for a contractor to remodel my kitchen and bathroom. I currently live in Northridge and with their rules and regulations, I would need someone with their license and permits. Any good recommendations are appreciated! Thank you all!
I was all for Open Space before - when it was clearly understood where people and families can walk (larger area) and where these bicycles and scooters and motorcycles can go (smaller area w/bicycles imprinted on ground). However, all the new markings are hard to understand - it is just insane now. 🙄😖😒. If it had been left alone, ok. But with all the wasted $$$ on huge planters that have no use, green and white paint, “steps”, little side tables and chairs, etc and all the confusion that is still going on - I would rather just go back to the way it was before - when life was less complicated - and parking for more cars returned. 😔😡😤😖🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Rant over - just needed to vent in case anyone is listening 🤷🏻‍♀️

Please join us for works of German Splendour including Bach's exuberant Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 with full orchestra. We cannot wait to see you there! Musically Yours, The Queens Consort

Please call - your help needed. A4283 Ban Puppy Mills in Pet Stores bill would prohibit puppy mill animals in pet stores and allow space for local shelter animal adoptions. Puppy mill animals endure horrific lives and deaths. Seems like any human with a heart would support this bill which was introduced nearly 5 years ago. https://www.humanesociety.org/all-our-fights/stopping-puppy-mills UPDATE - THE BILL HAS PASSED IN NYS SENATE FOR A THIRD YEAR IN A ROW! A4283 has 81 assembly cosponsors already... that is a lot and not many bills share that distinction but it is still not enough to urge the bill to the assembly floor for a vote. The bill now sits in the Assembly Rules Committee once more, where it was allowed to die last year. PLEASE CALL YOUR ASSEMBLY MEMBER TODAY - ASK THEM TO SUPPORT AND COSPONSOR A4283. THANK YOU. https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2021/a4283
OANA has long been a stakeholder regarding the renovation of the LaGuardia Airport, and we are indeed very happy with the results. By combining Light Rail, the Ferry, and bus service, we can make both our airports easily accessed by all! We are honored to be recognized for our efforts to improve access to our airports, with Op-Ed's being published in local papers, The National Herald / Εθνικός Κήρυξ, Queens Gazette, Jackson Heights Post, and NYC Wide Publications Crain's New York Business and the New York Daily News.
