If you missed episode 11 of Tilted Kilt on Destination EB here's your chance! Don't miss out on their new food fare and sports all day!

Next up on Monday, is our FINAL episode 12 for our Destination EB Web Series Season One!!!! We take you to Park Chateau our own in town venue for weddings and private affairs.

You can't miss this one, they are the best around and right here in town!

This next webisode takes place at The Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery. It’s been a while since I have been to a sports bar and I do not remember the food being this good! In addition to a ton of TV screens filled with sports action, like Hooters, the TK is known for its wings and attractive waitresses. They also have a variety of events, special nights and contests to keep you entertained. However, on this night, for me, it was all about the barbecue bacon Angus burger and salty pretzel with dunking sauces. Look at Skinny go!

The Tilted Kilt in East Brunswick is located at 755 NJ-18 #533c, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 - AND they are participants of the Shop East Brunswick Program, so eating here lowers your residential property taxes.
But don’t despair, this Irish and Welsh inspired pub also has locations in 22 states and in 2 provinces in Canada. If I make it look good and you want to see if there is a location near you, check out: tiltedkilt.com

Good Morning EB!! Today we visit the Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery! They have revamped their menu under new management - Jodi Spieker gives us the inside scoop on all of the best that they have going on at TK.

After seeing Jeff Schubert try the BBQ Bacon Guinness Burger, we had to try it for ourselves before releasing this episode, it was INSANE!

And they are also a part of the Shop East Brunswick Program so be sure to take your card with you to get your property tax rebate for eating there.

You don't want to miss this one.... and this is the second to last episode!!

In case you missed this great episode 10 at Tiger Schulmanns, watch it now. He teaches mixed martial arts and anti-bullying to his coed classes.

Plus watch Jeff try to make some of those moves that the kids do! :)

Our tenth webisode unintentionally became more than just another webisode about my exploration of East Brunswick. In it, I visited Tiger Schulmman's Mixed Martial Arts Studio. The owner, Sensei Andrew Katz, did show me a couple of moves but in this webisode it is more about the kids. I paid special attention to Sensei Katz' emphasis on how to protect yourself from bullies. I asked him about that and MMA.

I'll be posting a blog later today with more thoughts on bullying and links to learn more.

For more information on Tiger Schulmman EB, [email protected]. Tiger has locations in five states on the east coast and maybe one near you. Otherwise consider exploring what is near you and if this type of training may be right for you or your child.

I bet some people from East Brunswick reading this didn’t even know that their little Township has a museum. Well it does. And it is run by a passionate group of volunteers. One of those volunteers, Mark Nonestied gave me a great tour. Mark kind of reminded me of when I was in school. If I liked the teacher and he or she was interesting and had personality, it was easy for me to learn, and it made the material interesting and fun. Such is the case here.

East Brunswick has a rich and interesting history to appreciate and enjoy. So much so, that you don’t have to be from EB to appreciate the pieces of history (and my goofy personality 🙂 shared in this webisode!

If you’re local, you can check out the EB Museum here…http://www.eastbrunswickmuseum.org/

Otherwise maybe this webisode will inspire you to check out a museum near you.

Catch Jeff Schubert and friends doing HOT Yoga Dosha - Yoga for Every Body in episode 08 of Destination EB this week.

Yoga is a great physical workout with spiritual and emotional benefits. Its been a while since I’ve taken a class. Its been since never that I took one in over 100 degree heat! But hot yoga is a thing and I was game to give it try!

More than just yoga, Yoga Dosha owner Phebe Khalill incorporates the aryveda concept of Dosha into her practice. Being a little new agey myself, I was very interested in asking Phebe about that, and finding out what my Dosha is.

Yoga Dosha has great classes, (including ones at “normal” temperatures) and retreats too. For more information you can go to: www.yogadoshanj.com

Don’t forget to be properly hydrated before and after you engage in any activity! Watch me in this webisode and you’ll see why!
