Starlight Music is seeking a full-time, ambitious, passionate and motivated individual to assist the CEO with a large variety of tasks ranging from simple Admin work (data entry, answering phones, etc.) to Producing full-scale events and perhaps sales. Starlight is an Entertainment and Music Production company that provides Bands, DJs and other services to Social and Corporate clients. Our acts have performed at weddings for Kevin Hart, Billy Joel, Michael Douglas-Catherine Zeta Jones and more. We are growing fast and need someone who is prepared to work 8-12 hours a day, is eager to build their career and will be able to devote a great deal of time to the company. There are many opportunities to earn additional income from within the organization as well as to travel around the world for various events.
Must think fast, work efficiently and be very organized. The job will require dealing with Event Planners, Clients, Venues, and other people associated within the Private Event Industry. So must have great people skills, be presentable with a friendly and outgoing personality. Word, Excel, Power Point experience would be great, but a good working knowledge of computers (PC) is most important. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience from within event industry is preferred but not required. Must live in NYC or within Subway distance from mid-town Manhattan.
