From Born Into Brothels to Hope House

Fictionless Founder and Creative Director, Ross Kauffman, won the Academy Award for 2005 film Born into Brothels about the children of prostitutes who work Kolkata's notorious red light district. BUT just telling and spreading their amazing and heartbreaking story to the world doesn't mean the work is over: Ross, the filmmaking team and Head First Development envisioned a permanent program to support the community shown in the movie, and to capture the power that art has to transform lives. The result: a safe place where young women and girls from the red light district can safely thrive!
