Koolulam | Invitation to an Online Global Event | Fix You | Coldplay

ANPR is thrilled to be working with Koolulam, a social musical initiative that typically organizes in-person mass singing events. We are especially excited to get the word out about this first-ever global digital event everyone can participate in from HOME, that will provide a platform for all of us around the world now under physical isolation to join together through song.

Koolulam wants YOU—whoever you are, wherever you live-- to transform your voice into an inspiring music video that will convey your personal prayers for the worldwide community. If you don’t have a balcony to sing on or clap from – consider this your balcony. Soprano, alto or baritone? You pick. Instructions here. https://mailchi.mp/koolulam/fixyouen

Share widely and be in touch if you have any questions! Oh, and we forgot to share the really fun part: we'll be singing Fix You by Coldplay. Koolulam will then take our voices/videos from around the world and blend them together into a uniquely blended video of symphony, sound and solidarity. More background on Koolulam is at Koolulam.com. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiED-QWOHWc&feature=youtu.be #singourheartout

I've been the CEO of my company for 7 years, but I consider my first day to be when I shaved, swapped my shorts for pants, and appeared on the national news

GoodRx co-CEO Doug Hirsch tells the story of the first day he felt like a true CEO at Business Insider: "During the interview, I talked about how we simply wanted to help Americans get the prescriptions they deserved. About halfway through, I had my "a ha" moment: My company was going to reach a national audience, and it was my job to articulate the vision and direction of the company." https://www.businessinsider.com/first-day-as-ceo-doug-hirsch-goodrx-2018-8

Co-founder and co-CEO of GoodRx, Doug Hirsch, says although he technically became a CEO at the founding of his company, he didn't truly step into the position until a specific moment in an interview with ABC years later.

What Does a Drug Cost? It Depends on Where You Live.

A new analysis from GoodRx finds that the price of certain drugs varies widely depending on what city they are sold in, reports The New York Times. According to Thomas Goetz, the chief of research at GoodRx, many factors are likely playing a role, like the prevalence in some areas of big-box stores like WalMart and Costco, which sell generic drugs at cheap prices—but that can't entirely explain what's going on.
