Beyond thrilled to be included along with Molly Skye Brown as a producing member of Michael Merritt’s incredible project,
Brave Hearts For Broadway.
Frontline workers have gone above and beyond while helping our communities to heal during the outbreak of COVID 19. Now, many of those same heroes will also be lending their help to an entire industry....the theater industry. Countless theater and live entertainment workers have lost their livelihood due to the restrictions put upon social gatherings in order to combat the virus.
These people are feeling ignored and overlooked by our government which isn't making the financial suffering of theater professionals a priority. Cue the frontline workers. Brave Hearts for Broadway is the brainchild of Michael Merritt, both a playwright and an ER nurse in NYC. Brave Hearts will be a live virtual music event consisting of original music and choreography performed by frontline workers from around the globe all for the financial benefit of those theater workers feeling forgotten right now.

Hello again!
Its been several weeks since my last video but I've been doing my best to keep myself busy.
I've been lending my efforts in the form of video to a local church, UCF, some incredible musicals written by the brilliant Leo Schwartz that will be hitting some major stages when they can, and a beautiful project called Brave Hearts for Broadway which is the brainchild of the amazing Michael Merritt and is designed to benefit both the theater industry as well as the front line workers...among some other fun projects in the works including a funny ad for my wife, Molly's podcast, Let's Be Frank.
While i'm beyond grateful to be shooting and editing, the one element I do miss is writing. So, in my downtime I did. It's silly, it's a little long, but it was therapeutic. I also used The Last Dance as a framing device since I've got a feeling that when our industry comes back, CEO's will be all over "starring" in their own version So whether you can laugh a little with or at me is no different...just as long as it brings a smile to your face.

Love him or hate him, Quentin Tarantino has already left an indelible mark on the history of cinema. Here are five screenwriting lessons from the auteur.
3D is "fun" for some movies but, for me, a great story is far more immersive than a visual effect. The effect actually takes away from the true intent of the film as far as many film buffs are concerned resulting in diehard film fanatics opting for the old fashioned 2D format. Having said that AND being the father of a 10yr old, I'm genuinely intrigued by this review. The fact that the story has already been told for generations and is so familiar to so many gives the production some leeway to explore the 3D platform without losing its audience when it comes to the heart of the story...I hope. Looking forward to checking this out for myself next week.
