Good news! The American Philosophical Association has just awarded us a small grant to support OBET's transition to a new platform, and for a pilot program of hiring data-entry personnel in 2015!

The American Philosophical Association promotes the discipline and profession of philosophy, both within the academy and in the public arena.

OBET is currently down-- we are putting a new platform in place! Bigger and better. Very soon….

Animals are a major environmental concern, in a broad sense. The wellbeing of animals and our treatment of them are covered most notably and fairly by five journals, four of whose complete contents are indexed in OBET: Animal Welfare, Applied Animal Behavior Science (which used to be Applied Animal Ethology), Society & Animals, and the new Journal of Animal Ethics. There is a fifth journal, however, whose focus is directly within this purview: Applied Animal Welfare Science. We need its complete contents and abstracts indexed. Contact the Curator if you are interested in accomplishing this.
