It is with profound sadness that Kable Distribution Services announces the loss of our dear friend and co-worker, Carol Mack Zechman, who departed this life early this morning. Beloved wife of Bill Zechman, recently retired Senior Vice President of Kable Distribution Services; loving mother of Lisa, Brian, Kevin(Lois), Keith Zechman, and Alison Gordon(John); dear grandmother of Taylor and Jack; beloved sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and great aunt.
The essence of Carol is best summed up by the following tribute from niece Lori Kohout Burkert (used with permission):
My beautiful Aunt Carol and her soul mate, husband, best friend...Uncle Bill. There are simply not enough adjectives to describe her...she truly was and forever will be one of the most beautiful, genuine, loving, compassionate , exemplary women I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Even in her pain she did all she could to ease the pain she saw in others... Reassuring, loving, and reminding us that this is not our home. She was my aunt, my God mother, but most of all she was my friend... And a mentor in so many ways. The amazing thing is that EVERYONE would echo these sentiments...That she was their FRIEND. She has left a legacy that will never be forgotten through her 5 beautiful children, and 2 grandchildren and all who loved her. Thank you Lord for placing such beautiful lights in our lives. Thank you Lord for the gift of Carol Mack Zechman.
