Growing up, my dad had many sayings. One of them was:
“Money doesn’t grow on trees ya know?!.”
As a kid that saying used to make my eyes roll (on the inside... not to my Trini-dad 😁😏😳❤️). I just wanted money for some candy 😂.... again! But now as the founder of Brooklyn Brewed Sorrel I get it. What he meant was that desirable things, like money and like our Caribbean hibiscus-spiced brewed and aged mocktail take time and care to nurture and develop.
And while Brooklyn Brewed Sorrel also doesn't grow on trees, the good news is that our ingredients do and each bottle is crafted with care and intention.
