| LUPE Fund, Inc. presents the third annual “Power of Latinas Conference,” built around this year’s theme, “Latinas Leading the Future: Power, Influence, and Impact.” The gathering will bring business, public service, education, entrepreneurship, and civic life into the same conversation, bringing together Latina professionals, entrepreneurs, community leaders, advocates, and emerging voices to examine where influence is being built—and where new opportunities are taking shape for Latinas in New Jersey and beyond.
The conference will feature three panel conversations: “From Culture to Capital: Building Latina Economic Power,” “The Leadership Pipeline: Preparing Latinas to Lead the Next Economy,” and “Elección Latina: From Cultural Visibility to Civic Power.” The discussions will bring together professionals, public officials, business leaders, and community representatives from the State of New Jersey, Montclair State University, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (SHCCNJ), Greater Bergen Community Action (GBCA), Para Kids, Crowdy Holdings, Inc., J&J Assurance Group, and other institutions working across business, education, government, community development, and civic engagement.

The LUPE Fund, Inc. conference grows out of more than two decades of work focused on advancing Latina leadership and civic participation. Founded in 2003 by a group of Latinas with backgrounds in law, education, human services, business, and public policy, LUPE has built programs around scholarships, mentorship, education, and civic engagement. The Power of Latinas Conference extends that work into a broader conversation about access to capital, the leadership pipeline, and participation in the decisions that shape New Jersey’s economy and communities.
