Cornelia Street Cafe
SO THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS as Cornelia Street Cafe begins its slow goodbye to the neighborhood and the spot it has called home for over 41 years. The tears have begun and the sadness can be felt weighing heavily on every one of us who have known this place for all 41-years or for the first time. "I can't believe this is being allowed to happen," we hear a lot. And while none of us wants to think about the doors closing, we have to face the fact that everything must go. We encourage you to come down and place your name on those items that are up for sale, tables, and other sundry items. Each day we will post things that you can purchase. If you are a young professional or know someone who is moving into their first apartment - tell them to come down. If you want a piece of Cornelia Street Cafe for your very own, come down and place your name on the item.
These original high tables, the single, not the doubles (made from polished wine crates) are available for sale. They also come in regular size as shown in the photos. Cornelia Street Cafe wine bottles that can be used as table centerpieces or in other ways, come with their own lights or you can insert candles - your preference are also available. Glassware and flatware may be purchased.
We also have a special package deal - a small handmaid, Cornelia Street Cafe wine crate table + a bottle of the special Cornelia Street Cuvee (either the Pinot Noir or Chardonnay) and a copy of the Cafe Stories book written by owner Robin Hirsch for $500.00.
