a lady called today and left a voicemail at the studio saying:
"I AM NOT BUYING YOUR CHRISTMAS CARDS. They don't say that are made in USA. So I am not buying them!"
Oh! Is that the new reality?
(the cards are actually made in USA, but it is weird - to say the least- to get messages like this)

Aerial photo of the Chrysler Building in New York City.
When the 320 meter tall Chrysler was completed in 1930 it was the tallest building in the world but only for eleven months until the Empire State Building stole that honor. It still remains New York's most beautiful building though.

Aerial photo of the Empire State Building and midtown in New York City. Flying over the big apple in a helicopter with no doors is an amazing exprerience.

Scary moment of the day: on a sunrise photo flight over Manhattan, the pilot tilted the helicopter sharply so that I could take a better picture of the Freedom Tower, the 541 meter tallest building in New York. Leaning on a helicopter with no doors at 40 degrees… not too much fun...

This was the first postcard of Psaris Productions. It was shot during Wigstock, a hilarious festival full of Drag Queens, interesting faces and crazy costumes, back in the day when East Village was the coolest place in New York City. I took only one picture of these two people on a borrowed camera. They turned out to be pretty famous in the downtown music scene. In the front is Daniel Cartier, a singer and songwriter, and the in background is Howie Pyro of the band D-Generation. Photo © Konstantino Hatzisarros 2010
