Opera Ebony and Music Director, Wayne Sanders will perform at The Mist Theater in Harlem on November 17, 2018. The afternoon begins with a reception at 2:00pm with the concert to follow at 3:15pm. The MIST Theater is located on 46 West 116th Street between Lenox and Fifth Avenues.
The performance, SASS N’ CLASS conceived and directed by Wayne Sanders features songs and arias of longing, desire and love. The artists for this special event includes sopranos Angela Owens and Nia Drummond, tenor, K’idar Miller and baritones Anthony Turner and Marvin Lowe. Musical arranger and pianist Randolph Noel will team with John Robinson on bass.
This performance is a gift of long time Opera Ebony supporter Mrs. Theresa Murphy. The concert also celebrates Mrs. Murphy’s birthday.
