We’re excited to announce that we will be working to help grow the brand as their new social agency of record.

Late this summer, our teams got to work creating a social media strategy and respective creative franchises in support of the rapidly growing performance shoe brand. In two short weeks, our team ran a sprint using our proprietary “Social Brand Framework” to identify a growth audience, define a role of social, identify content pillars, create a channel plan, social identity, six new social franchises and measurement plan for HOKA.

The first of many content formats that Canvas has planned for HOKA social is "The FLY Report," a video franchise featuring real people sporting HOKA shoes in the wild, while also discussing their style and passions that inspire movement.

This series caters to a more lifestyle and fashion forward audience, but Canvas will look to balance expanding the HOKA social audience, while also staying true to the brands core performance and running roots.

Introducing Julia Gershowitz, our Copywriting Intern. As part of the creative team at Canvas United, this SU Newhouse ‘23🍊 student is always thinking of solutions and stories to tell. Julia loved being able to work on various projects and contribute different things to each. She is on team tea and her semester abroad in London inspired her while also filling up her phone with photos. Worth it! Julia also clarified that she has been a tea fan since before her time in London.

Meet Kate Mcnamara, our Art Directing Intern. This gator 🐊(UF’24) has been working with the Canvas United team to create great content and great conversation. Kate has loved hands-on work. She is a member of team coffee and if she looks familiar, maybe it’s because she starred in a movie when she was 11 years old.

Our 2022 UNITED Initiative internship is coming to a close and we couldn’t be more proud of everything our intern class accomplished. From helping with fun client work, to diving into their own creative projects and building a real business pitch! This year, our HB Office cleaned up Huntington's State Beaches and our NY office distributed meals to those in need, all before enjoying lunch together.
