We had such an exciting day back to campus last week! Spring Prep Day commenced with a bang, featuring details of reporting by fellow students over winter break, an incredible talk with CJS Alum Rita Omokha about her new book “Resist” led by Professor Alexis Clark, and an in-depth panel discussion with Sewell Chen, Gabriel Arana, and Mazan Sidahmed on Journalism in the Age of Trump. A huge thanks to Columbia SPJ’s very own Eric Santomauro-Stenzel for leading this panel, and our SPJ president Shubhanjana Das for her opening remarks! SPJ was honored to have collaborated on the events for the day with the Deans, and we are so excited for what’s to come this semester!
