Today, June 27th is National Sunglasses Day and Peach and Paulo are wearing their sunglasses.

1. Sunglasses add symmetry to their faces.

2. Sunglasses provide UVA and UVB protection from the sun. UV rays can’t be seen, but their long-term effects are extremely damaging to the eyes.

3. Sunglasses help prevent wrinkles because squinting is drastically decreased.

Two of the most important features parents should look for when purchasing sunglasses for their children are sunglasses that are comfortable and a style that the child likes, because if either of these characteristics are missing, children will not wear the sunglasses or be protected from UV exposure.

Our Story

Vincentian born Kamla Karina Millwood is the Founder and CEO of Palatial Publishing LLC, www.palatialpublishingllc.com - which is located in New York, NY. Palatial Publishing LLC is a children’s literature publishing company with wonderful illustrated books with priceless messages. In addition to several books that she authored in the Peach The Duck series, Kamla also published a video game called DRESS PEACH which can be found on the Apple iTunes store. This phenomenal woman is referred to many as a "Go-getter" as once she puts her mind to something - she gets it done. We first fell in love with the character Peach in Kamla’s first book "Peach The Duck" and her second book “A Peach On The Beach” is just as exciting to read. Her third book "Peach Plays Pretend" is a wonder. Her fourth book "Peach's Pet Pug Paulo" is indeed a true masterpiece. Her talent to write effortlessly and her illustrator’s genius skills to create – makes for a beautiful combination as the characters in her books “come alive” for the readers. Kamla's fifth book is called “Peach’s Passion For Fashion. Kamla’s sixth book is called Peach In Paradise. Kamla’s seventh book is called Peach’s Princess Party. Kamla’s eighth book is called “Peach Saves Money.” “Peach Saves Money” highlights the importance of children learning how to save money.
