Donate to our Virtual Toy Drive! https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=LEVK7URYX73GC&Z3JncnB0=

Greetings,

As the holiday season approaches, we would like to invite you to join us in giving our most deserving families a reason to celebrate by hosting a virtual toy drive! Friday, December 4, 2020, at 7:00 pm. (Save the Date).

Please dress in your Ugly Christmas Sweater for the Virtual Toy Drive.

For many struggling parents, providing gifts to their children is well beyond their reach. However, with the support from compassionate Tribune members like you, we will be able to bring smiles and happiness to the faces of many children this holiday season. For many children, this may be the only present they receive.

The Tribune Society’s Annual Holiday Toy Drive has become a welcome source of Holiday cheer for underserved families throughout the communities. This year, with your support, we plan to go BIG and distribute new, unwrapped toys and gift cards for children 3 years to 14 years, with an approximate value of no more than $20.

Please join us; together, we can make this year’s Toy Drive a truly magical experience for all! Donations are cheerfully accepted. We will be happy to do the shopping for you.

We want to remind you to take a mental health break.

This year hasn't been easy and it doesn't seem to be letting up. The social isolation + bad news at every turn combined with our busy lives can be overwhelming. That's why on this World Mental Health Day, we want to remind you to take care of yourself. Whether it's journaling, strolling outdoors, a 10-minute meditation, or even FaceTiming with a good friend, remember to take a moment for you.

"I ask no favor for my s*x. All I ask of our brethren is that they take their feet off our necks."

Ruth Bader Ginsburg became a heroine to the American left after overcoming entrenched s*xism in the legal profession to ascend to the U.S. Supreme Court, where she championed gender equality and other liberal causes during 27 years on the bench. 💖

I was born in 1953, before the Civil Rights Act was law, before Brown v Board was decided, a decade before the Voting Rights Act.

The times again are upon Congress, and we must act. The camera of history is rolling. Let it not reflect as unfavorably on us now as it did on '53.
