Hmm, what production shall we do next year?

Are you feeling unsure about planning your spring or summer musical?

We hear you and we've got your back.

Here are a few ways you can rest easy when you license a show from Beat by Beat:

Flexible Date Changes and Extensions. If you need to change the dates of your performance, or extend the length of your license due to fluctuating Covid guidelines, simply send us an email and we’ll make it happen.

Cancellations. If you need to cancel your performance due to Covid without the ability to reschedule, we will provide you with a future credit to produce the same show for the amount originally paid.

Flexible Performance Options. If for any reason you need to video record or stream your show online, permission is included with every Beat by Beat license. You can use any platform that best works for your community.

Virtual Musicals. Our three virtual musicals provide an excellent option for those that need to rehearse and perform a show remotely.

Adaptation. If you need to make small edits to a script (splitting or combining characters, shortening a scene, changing a setting, etc.) simply write to us and we’ll do your best to give you approval within 24 hours.

Our story

Something magical happens when you give kids a chance to perform in an original show made specifically for them.

Beat by Beat Press was founded by a group of award-winning writers and educators from New York City with an artistic spirit and a passionate objective: to create high-quality musicals with fresh stories and characters specifically written for performers ages 7-14. We founded Beat by Beat Press after listening to parents, teachers and directors tell us that they don’t want just another fairytale adaptation or repacked adult musical. They want meticulously crafted shows built from the ground up for young performers.

We believe in musical theater’s power to unlock a child’s creativity and build self-confidence. That’s why we’re 100% dedicated to creating today’s best new resources for young actors and the incredible educators who work with them.
