It's time to shoutout one of the most versatile and ubiquitous pieces of production equipment: the apple box! They can be used to prop up furniture and light stands, for leveling camera dolly track, or to provide temporary seats, workbenches, or stepladders. Check out one of our Digital Imaging Technicians in action! The DIT works closely with the Cinematographer to monitor image quality and artistic look throughout a shoot. They act as the bridge between production and post-production! The second picture features a VTR (Video Tape Recorder) station which can record and playback video in real-time. Welcome back to Crew's Corner! Here we have a portable jib arm. They can manage loads of extreme weight with ease, increasing workplace safety and efficiency. Jib cranes are typically fairly easy to operate and maintain due to their simple design as seen here where we used it for a little extra streetttcccchhh to capture this overhead table shot
