Grenadian Entrepreneur Sees Positive Impact from Investment in Modernizing Transportation

St. George’s, Grenada – A Grenadian-owned technology investment aimed at modernizing transportation on the island is already showing strong and measurable results. Ryde Go, Grenada’s fast-growing rideshare platform, officially launched in August 2025 and has since recorded over 5,000 registered members, signaling a positive shift in how residents and visitors move around the island.

Speaking recently on the Good Morning Grenada radio program on GBN, the owner of Ryde Go highlighted the tremendous impact the platform has already made in providing reliable, safe, and accessible transportation for the Grenadian community.

“The impact has been tremendous,” the founder stated. “People are now going out with the reassurance that a car is always just about five minutes away. That peace of mind is changing how people move, socialize, and even work across the island.”

The Ryde Go platform connects passengers seeking transportation from point A to point B with professional drivers, offering comfortable and dependable rides through a modern, app-based system. Since its launch, thousands of trips have already been completed, with users consistently providing positive reviews and feedback.

During the live GBN interview, callers expressed strong interest and commendation for the investment, describing it as a win-win for Grenada. Many noted that the platform has made travel significantly easier, especially for visitors and returning nationals who prefer not to drive or rent vehicles while on the island.

Despite still being in its growth stage, Ryde Go has surpassed early expectations, generating positive economic spin-offs for drivers, passengers, and the wider community by improving mobility and access to transportation.

Looking ahead, the company projects continued expansion and adoption, with forecasts indicating the platform will exceed 15,000 users by the end of 2026.

Ryde Go remains committed to supporting Grenada’s transportation ecosystem by combining technology, local entrepreneurship, and community-focused service to meet the island’s evolving mobility needs.
