Congratulations to our good friend (and former Highway 81 columnist) Will Beekman on his new role at the arena in Wilkes-Barre.

JUST ANNOUNCED: Will Beekman, who spent the last five years serving as the F.M. Kirby Center’s executive director, has accepted the position of General Manager at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre Township.

We are SO EXCITED to announce that Lauren Pluskey McLain has been named Managing Director and will assume all administrative oversight for the organization. Anne Rodella has been promoted to Artistic Director. In her new role, Anne will guide the theater’s overall artistic vision. Additionally, the Kirby Center has announced the promotion of Joell Yarmel to Director of Development.

And keep an eye out for our new 2019-2020 Season Announcement later this month!
