Inklette

Inklette Inklette Magazine is a not-for-profit, online, literary magazine publishing nonfiction, fiction, poetry, visual art and weekly blogs by artists and writers from around the world and of all ages.

It is run exclusively by high school and college students. Inklette is a not-for-profit online literary magazine helmed by high-school and college students from all over. At Inklette, we believe in the ability of art and literature to strike our consciousness in inexplicable ways. We believe that a good work of art can makes us feel that our backs are ‘straight road(s) to the sky,’ as Brigit Pegeen Kelly puts it. We love language- whether it moves, stays, mingles or creates. Let your work be the keyhole into a completely different world. We don’t order Greek salads here; we order for a plate of you.

Hello! I am looking for authors and reviewers who wish to publish their content and get access to some of the most top notch publishers for their work. Please inbox!
Hello, editors and fans of Inklette! This is Deb Jannerson, author of the poem "orange day," which appeared in Issue III of Inklette. I wanted to let poetry lovers know that my second book, THANKS FOR NOTHING, is slated to hit stores in August. 2017 was a wonderful year for me but a questionable one for the world, and the collection explores this tension. How can one remain aware on a large scale but still enjoy life's pleasures? TfN is preoccupied with politics, pop culture, personal health, and their myriad intersections, which makes it a perfect place for a reprint of "orange day." Inklette is, of course, credited as the piece's original publisher, and I continue to appreciate the magazine for giving this work its original home. THANKS FOR NOTHING is currently on pre-sale with Finishing Line Press, and since they're on the smaller side, pre-orders are extremely important. Support a working artist and an innovative publisher by buying yours today. For a taste, you can find "orange day" here--https://inklettemagazine.com/issues/issue-iii/--and check out some of my other work on my website--http://www.debjannerson.com/magazines.html. Despite my book's title, I thank all of you very much. Keep the poetic spirit alive!
