The American Red Cross has several apps, with built in alerts, shelter locations near you, and even helpful preloaded content that you won't need mobile reception to read. FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency also has a helpful app. Just remember to download all on your phone NOW, before danger hits and you lose reception.
