Random House to Publish Multi-Book Series Based on The New York Times’s “The 1619 Project” | The New York Times Company
The word is out! So excited to share that the #1619project will become a series of books, to be published by One World Books (Penguin Random House). The series will include an expanded version of the NYT Mag issue, including essays, fiction and poetry. Random House also plans a graphic novel and four publications for young people. The project will be overseen by the inimitable Nikole Hannah-Jones, the initiator of the project, and her colleagues at the Times.
