You know it, you love it, but you haven't seen a Christmas Carol like this one. Q BROTHERS CHRISTMAS CAROL remixes Dickens' classic tale into something new, using everything from reggae to rock. As Scrooge is shown the path of rhythm and redemption, will he throw off his selfish chains and join the beat?

CHRISTMAS IN CONNECTICUT, in its world premiere at Goodspeed Musicals, is a delightful new musical comedy to ring in the holiday season. Based on the classic 1945 Warner Bros. film, columnist Liz Lane, a famous expert in cooking, marriage and homemaking, is asked by her publisher to host a war hero for Christmas dinner at her renowned Connecticut farmhouse. The only problem? She can’t cook, she isn’t married and she lives in a tiny New York apartment.

By the time Hank Williams turned twenty-five, he was a superstar. Four years later, the music world would lose this extraordinary talent at a very young age.

Hank Williams: Lost Highway tells the story of the late superstar in a heartfelt, fun musical that's sure to stick with your audience. To make sure Kansas City audiences see the same phenomenal show that took New York by storm, New Theatre & Restaurant is bringing in the critically acclaimed writer/director who created the New York production. The Laboratory Theater of Florida is offering FREE LAUGHS this weekend, and we think you deserve it.

Fort Myers friends—take a needed break this weekend and laugh along with THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG.

FREE LAUGHS! Yes, you read that right! FREE LAUGHS at The Lab! The Show Must Go On! It might go WRONG, but it must go ON! Come laugh with us!

Laughter, combined with a sense of community togetherness, is the best medicine. It is important to everyone at The Lab to support the community that sustains us, even if it is only for a few hours of air-conditioned normalcy and some outrageously riotous laughter.

The theater is offering TWO FREE PERFORMANCES this weekend and extending the run of the show for an additional two weeks. Saturday night at 8 pm and Sunday at 2 pm, the doors will be OPEN for our community to see what has been called "Broadway's Funniest Smash Hit.." for FREE. This is a first-come, first-served offer with general admission seating. The doors will open 30-minutes before showtime. Seating is limited, but we will do our best to accommodate as many people as possible.

These two FREE performances are only possible with a special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, The Play That Goes Wrong, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, Henry Shields, City of Fort Myers - Government, Mayor Kevin Anderson, and our City Councilman Liston Bouchette III.

This is Broadway! We were thrilled to be at the historic unveiling of sculptor Alison Saar's Lorraine Hansberry statue in Duffy Square on Thursday. The ceremony featured remarks from Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage, whose work we're proud to represent through our imprint Dramatists Play Service.

The 2022-23 national tour of Saar's statue marks the launch of The Lorraine Hansberry Initiative, which aims to raise public awareness of the full breadth of Hansberry's work and teachings. The Initiative includes a scholarship fund to help support female and nonbinary dramatic writers of color currently attending graduate school by covering their living expenses with the goal of giving them the financial freedom to follow in Lorraine's footsteps by pursuing their craft. Learn more about the organization's incredible work at lorrainehansberryinitiative.org/.
We're incredibly proud to represent Richard Greenberg's TAKE ME OUT which received this year's Tony for Best Revival of a Play.

TAKE ME OUT, like many titles up for this year's awards, tells the important story of oppression many LGBTQIA+ athletes experience just as much now as they did when the show was first staged 20 years ago.

Playbill: "The Educational Theatre Association has unveiled its list of the most-produced plays, musicals, and short plays in U.S. high schools during the 2021-2022 school year, the result of a survey that has been conducted annually since 1938.

The most produced play of the year was CLUE — a title the work has held for three years. ... Playwrights Don Zolidis and Jonathan Rand continue to dominate the most-produced short plays, with Rand's CHECK PLEASE in the top spot as it was last year."

We're honored to represent eight of the ten most-produced short plays. Explore these and thousands of other titles now on playscripts.com and read the full press release on Playbill at bit.ly/BLMostProduced2022.

We're so proud of Woodland Regional High School Theatre for their honor for BEST PLAY in the Seven Angels Theater awards. The theatre program is one of many schools this year that took on the challenge of THE ONE ACT PLAY THAT GOES WRONG.

For National Museum Day, we're spotlighting George C. Wolfe's THE COLORED MUSEUM.

Tony Award®-winning actor Billy Porter, who directed Huntington Theatre's 2015 production, had this to say about the show: "THE COLORED MUSEUM came into my life at a very formative time. I was a teenager longing for more than just one type of 'Black' representation in the creative storytelling landscape. George Wolfe's unique and irreverent voice of inclusion ignited the fire of possibility inside of me and set me on a creative journey that included stretching myself beyond what, up until then, I thought was possible for a little Black gay boy from the ghetto. I am forever grateful."
