"Extraterritorial" differences between countries concerning implementation of the legal entity identifier (LEI), Basel III, Fatca and MiFID II continued to be high on the discussion agenda during the North American Financial Information Summit. These differences are proving to be a challenge for firms seeking to comply with new rules and standards.
