From the Article: When the incident occurred, Halliburton told Metro officers Reynolds kicked in the door and started yelling at her and her two sons who had not went to bed yet. A surveillance camera captured part of the exchange and a man's voice shouting, "Try to shoot me, I'll break every bone in your f(expletive) neck. You f(expletive) n(expletive)."

Statement from Anthony Beckford: For his racist terroristic behavior, I am demanding that this NYPD Officer needs to be stripped of his badge and gun and fired immediately. He is a threat to the safety of others. All of his fi****ms need to be taken before he murders someone while on a racist tirade.

"I have been going off about the fact that the city used this tactic to steal homes in our communities and to also bankrupt homeowners. This was a way for the city to also not take any type of accountability for the issues that are their responsibility. There are homeowners throughout Brooklyn and other Boroughs who have been $10,000 to $30,000 to repair these issues.

I demand that one more measure be placed into affect. The city should pay back homeowners from the past 10 years who have had to pay for the city's mess. If those owners have sold their homes, then they shouls be found and payment should be made. If they have passed away, then their next of kin should receive payment. If their home was taken by way of a lien, then they are to be given the full value of their home plus the payments they made for the repairs of the city's mess." - Anthony Beckford (Community Leader / City Council Candidate)

The fact that Bloomingdales and its parent company Macy's use such tactics, clearly shows how Big Monet Corporations contributed to the escalation in the use of the cash bail system and towards mass incarceration. Especially, the Mass Incarceration of those with Mental Health Issues. I am calling for all elevated charges brought on by Macys and Bloomingdales against yhose who have committed non-violent crimes to be reduced or dismissed immediately. For those serving a prison term, they are to receive time served and are to be given the resources and treatments that they need.

In NYC tonight and need something to do? Join me in clebrating Women’s Artistry Joe's Pub for listening pleasure of Canadian singer-songwriter Kellie Loder

International Women Artists' Salon
#Music Recommendation: In #NYC, catch the #JunoAward-nominee #Canadian #folkpop musician Kellie Loder this Friday, August 30th at #JoesPub, 9:30pm.

Tickets:
https://joespub.publictheater.org/Tickets/Calendar/PlayDetailsCollection/Joes-Pub/2019/K/Kellie-Loder/?SiteTheme=JoesPub

Thank yous to our awesome long time fan and supporter of all things International Women Artists' Salon Lisa Langlois for bringing this artist to our attention. We look forward to checking out her music while she is here in NYC on August 30th.

"There is something truly extraordinary about Juno Award–nominee Kellie Loder.

It’s there in her immensely poignant lyrics, which are set against dazzling, melodic folk/pop. And it’s there in the singer/songwriter’s electrifying live shows which simultaneously inspire profound emotion in listeners while cracking them up with sparkling anecdotes.

If Loder isn’t breaking your heart, she’s splitting your sides.

Those contrasting yet somehow complementary sensibilities doubtless stem from Loder’s native #NewfoundlandAndLabrador, a rugged and remote place steeped in #storytelling tradition and where #comedy and tragedy are twin markers for successfully navigating life, a point documented by legions of legendary artists from the region."
