In Q3, podcast ad spend grew 87% compared to a year ago thanks in part to the biggest advertisers increasing their investments. ๐Ÿ“ˆ

The industries advertising the most include B2B, finance, food, and consumer goods. ๐Ÿ›’

But this quarter also welcomed over 1,700 newcomers to the space who spent an average of $22,000. ๐Ÿ‘‹

๐Ÿ›A recent study from PwC found consumers with pent-up savings will be spending more this holiday season - and they look a lot like the podcast listener. 72% are under age 45 and 62% earn above the median household income.

๐Ÿ—ฃHost reads are great for recall. Nielsen Podcast Ad Effectiveness survey found ads voiced by the host drive a brand recall rate of 71%.

๐Ÿ›’ Podcast ads go further, driving listeners to take action. Surveying 'power subscribers', NCSolutions found 68% of heavy podcast consumers have purchased a product advertised on a podcast and 49% have used a promo code mentioned by a host.
