Tonight, the Tribute in Light shines over New York Harbor, honoring the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001.
Behind every number was a person — a mother, father, child, partner, friend, colleague. People who had plans, dreams, and loved ones waiting for them.
Standing here 25 years later, the lights feel like a reminder that life can change in an instant, and tomorrow is never promised.
We remember them. We honor their lives. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
