🍂 Fall colors hit differently this year — but not exactly how I expected. Even though we went during the second week of October, most of the trees had already lost their bright reds, leaving behind deep oranges, yellows, and bare branches that felt a little after the peak. Still, there’s something beautiful about that moody, fall in New York vibe — quiet roads, cool air, and reflections of gold on the lakes. 🍁✨

This short fall road trip through Upstate New York reminded me how unpredictable (and magical) the New York fall foliage season can be — every year paints a different kind of masterpiece.

I had the pleasure of attending a beautiful lunch at Aman New York with Matteo Lunelli Ferrari , President & CEO of Ferrari Trento and President of Fondazione Altagamma. Matteo began by sharing insightful perspectives on Italian luxury, culture, and creativity — and the trends shaping high-end brands through his work with Fondazione Altagamma.

Also, I loved hearing him share the fascinating history of Ferrari Trento, its values, and its thoughtful approach to winemaking. Each course was paired perfectly with Ferrari Trento’s exceptional sparkling wines, making it a truly memorable celebration of Italian excellence. 🇮🇹🥂
