Our Humanity Matters was created to further the understanding of the meaning of humanity and its spiritual and existential challenges in mass media culture.
Since today media is an integrated part of our nervous systems it is crucial to bring forth in the media the essence of humanity and to lift a state of humanity as an ongoing permanent condition. With OHM I wish to ignite a movement, which encourages our sense of unity, improves our relation to the environment, where we view humanity in a different and enlightened way.
Mission: To use the power of media to further the experience and understanding of humanity and to build a culture of wholeness.

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are Spiritual Beings having a human experience." -Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
I believe the spiritual impulse today is calling us toward that big next step we need to take in our world. That next step will not emerge by itself -- it must be consciously created by human beings.
A story of one person’s devotion to peace
Then there are the days when I “happen upon” blog posts like this one from urban shaman Queen Mama Donna Henes on her blog The Queen of My Self on Beliefnet. It’s posts like this that keep me going. I had to share it with you.

Nature is showing us what coherence and unity look like. Stunning video!
A chance encounter and shared moment with one of natures greatest and most fleeting phenomena.
When you sink below the surface of the manifest world and awaken to the timeless depth of that empty ground, you find yourself contemplating consciousness in its primordial state, free from all content, before it entered the stream of time. In this dimension, nothing has ever happened. The universe has not yet emerged; you have not been born; even time itself has not yet begun. - Andrew Cohen
