I CAME HOME FROM A TRIP TO FIND OUR HOUSE DESTROYED BY MY HUSBAND AND KIDS — THEY BLAMED IT ON ME, SO I TAUGHT THEM A LESSON

My hands are shaking with rage as I type this, but these things need to be said and heard. I'm a working mom of two who recently went on a work trip. Before leaving, I gave my husband a list of instructions and reminders about our kids' schedules.

I meal-prepped for a week, did the laundry, and laid out the kids' outfits for every day. I DID EVERYTHING I COULD TO MAKE HIS LIFE EASIER for him while I was working out of state.

TELL ME WHY I CAME BACK TO A HOUSE IN SHAMBLES?! On my way from the airport, all I could think about was my comfy bed and a warm dinner. I ALMOST BROKE DOWN CRYING WHEN I SAW what happened to the house while I was gone. There was nothing to eat, and my bed was covered in piles of clothes. HOW DO YOU EVEN DO THAT IN A WEEK?!

When my husband got home, he said, "Oh, thank God you're back! I'm starving. You didn't make enough food for the week." AND THAT'S WHEN I ⬇️

MY LITTLE SON CRIES EVERY TIME HE SEES THIS PHOTO — WHEN HE CONFESSED WHY, I CALLED THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY.That day, we were just looking at old photos when I called out to my son, "Look, these are your grandparents." But no one expected his reaction — he started crying and just ran away.It was a rather simple picture of his young grandparents enjoying dinner. But this photo was Adam's nightmare, and I couldn't understand why.He refused to speak, so my only hope was my husband. He sat down next to Adam and, handing him a book, said, "How about you use the words and letters in here to tell Daddy what you're scared of?"It worked. Adam began picking out letters with interest, page by page, building a word. First, he stopped on the third page and pointed to the letter "I.""Good job, champ! Keep going!" my husband encouraged, and Adam turned to the last word he wanted to tell us.
