All Creatures is a publication from Guideposts about the remarkable bonds and miracles that have occurred between humankind and the animals who share their lives with us.
"The sound engineer, who has toured with Aerosmith and the Beatles’ Ringo Starr, bought the bird box on a whim during lockdown.
He installed it on a willow tree in the back garden of his home in Leicester in March, and within hours two blue tits moved in and they had five chicks.
"Despite repeated attempts to leave the insect outside, the buzzy friend has refused to leave Lacey’s side. Now recovered and named Betty, it follows her to the shops and even stayed with Lacey during games at the bowling alley with 14 friends.
She stayed on Lacey throughout both games—for two-and-a-half hours.
"Piran the kitty lives with his cat mom in a rural area of Cornwall, England. When the 83-year-old Bodmin woman went missing, neighbors launched a search party, scouring the nearby countryside, but she was nowhere to be found—until searchers caught sight of an agitated Piran, mewing loudly by a cornfield gate." https://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/cats-meows-lead-searcher-to-83-year-old-owner-who-fell-into-ravine/
Piran the Cornwall cat alerted Bodmin Police searchers to his 83-year-old owner who had fallen down a steep ravine.
"Thanks to their willingness to perform, strength, and fearless exploits—including leaping from helicopters into the surf below to rescue at-risk swimmers—an average of 20-30 lives are saved annually by the doggie guards, and that number continues to climb each year."
"Jaylo Miles and his beautiful PTSD barn owl have the most incredible bond. Together they are on a mission to help raise awareness for mental health and those who are battling PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and the stigma attached to it."
"The long wait for their reunion arrived on a perfect summer day for a couples swim at the Birdsey Cape Wildlife Center in Barnstable. Canada goose Arnold spent a month in recovery there healing from an open foot fracture, likely from a snapping turtle attack in the pond at the back of the center. While healing, his lady friend now named Amelia, visited daily, pecking at the glass and keeping an eye on him, sometimes even joining him for a meal."

"Chosen Crue raised close to $10,000 in donations to split between Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary and CARE for PETS...
..The donations are special on their own, but there's more meaning behind a couple of checks. Noah's Ark and CARE for PETS were chosen to receive this money to honor Wendy Hacker. Wendy, an avid animal lover, passed away last year from COVID-19. Her husband Mike is the vice president of Chosen Crue and he was happy to be able to honor her in some way while also giving back to the community." https://wrex.com/2021/07/19/biker-group-donates-to-animal-rescue-shelters-in-honor-of-one-of-their-own/
Chosen Crue formed close to three years ago and is building a base of helping the community. Most recently, in memory of the wife of the group's vice president.
This may sound odd, but I’m best friends with a bird. Not a pet bird either. Lulabelle is a ruffed grouse, a native game bird that’s related to pheasants and partridges. Lulu is bigger than a pigeon, with a short crest on her head, a long fan-shaped tail and the most beautiful gold, beige and dark brown feathers. I used to hunt ruffed grouse, but I quit for good after I met Lulabelle...
"The current friendly felines at Oakridge are all related and named after plants. They include Annabelle hydrangea; Betty, a nickname for betula, the Latin name for birch; and Agnus, which sort of stands for angustifolia (although, gardners, we didn't think to ask if it's inspired by the lavender or echinacea variety). Annabelle, who's 8, is dubbed the 'greenhouse supervisor.'"
“Operation Tadpole. I’m going to move them into the pond where they’ll be safe.” He grabbed a bucket and headed outside. Within a few minutes, he was back. “Mom, the bucket is too big. There’s not enough water and I’m just scooping up mud.”
I handed him a red plastic cup. “This should work.”
“Can you help? There are so many tadpoles.”
“I have things to do…” I started to say, but the look on Nathan’s face stopped me. This was important to him. I grabbed another cup and followed him...
"With the new funding, UC Davis is expected to field its own mobile veterinary team capable of responding to disasters anywhere in the state, according to Sen. Steve Glazer, D-Orinda, who wrote a bill to create the program."

I've heard that three cents of every dollar is used to help animals at the aspca, and the CEO makes $300,000. Per year with bonuses. Does anyone know any different?

Okay I think I did a page for “Richard you’re not my cat”.
I’m not particularly good at this tech stuff and I couldn’t find a six year old kid to help me!
Hope you find it and enjoy
One thing I have shared about Richard you’re not my cat.....he doesn’t have a voice. He purrs but when he opens his mouth it’s just little squeaks, even when he’s squaring off to fight he doesn’t have that scary “I mean business” howl.
Maybe he wore it out fighting over the years😬
It is a very sad situation when the moderators of this site think that posts about animal abuse need to be blocked.
Why don't you go moderate a site were thinking animal abuse is a good thing instead???
This is Louis of ZoomwithLouis.. he’s cheered up many sick children in person and virtually during the pandemic🐴💕🎊❤️
I ordered this for my mother-in-law. I need a phone number to call to check on my order.
This is my little guy Tristan when he was 10 weeks old. He will be 3 years old in March. Time sure flys.
I love my boys. ✌️💙😊🐾
Ryder’s daddy is a merchant marine so he’s gone for almost 3-months at a time. When daddy comes home, it’s all about them and their bond just keeps getting stronger.
