GroupM and Unilever Push Publishers for More Proof Ads are Being Seen

The online ad industry has begun to embrace new measurement standards designed to ensure that when ads are purchased, they can actually be seen by consumers. The new standards would provide “the highest level of confidence that each paid ad translates into a reasonable opportunity for a real human exposure,” said Ari Bluman, Chief Digital Investment Officer for GroupM North America.

As the Definition of a Media Agency Changes, MEC Hires a Talent Chief

A new age in media has created the need for a new type of talent. To drive and shape the fundamental changes in play within the organization, MEC announces hire of its first Global Chief Talent Officer Marie-Claire Barker.

On her hire, MEC Global CEO Charles Courtier notes, "We've got to do a better job of bringing in fresh eyes and different experiences from a talent point of view into this industry. And I think somebody like Marie-Claire Barker is going to have a very good perspective on that."
