লেক জর্জ নিউইয়র্ক স্টেটের একটি মনোরম হ্রদ, যা তার স্বচ্ছ নীল জল, সবুজ পাহাড়ে ঘেরা প্রকৃতি এবং পর্যটকদের জন্য অফুরন্ত বিনোদনের জন্য বিখ্যাত। Adirondack পার্বত্য অঞ্চলের কোলে অবস্থিত এই হ্রদে গ্রীষ্মকালে নৌভ্রমণ, ক্যাম্পিং, সাঁতার কাটা, মাছ ধরা এবং জলক্রীড়ার অসংখ্য সুযোগ থাকে। শীতকালে বরফে ঢাকা পরিবেশে স্কিইং ও স্নোশোয়িং-এর রোমাঞ্চে মেতে ওঠেন ভ্রমণপ্রেমীরা। ঐতিহাসিক দুর্গ, ছোট ছোট দ্বীপ, আর প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যের অপার মিশ্রণ লেক জর্জকে করে তুলেছে একটি অবিস্মরণীয় গন্তব্য।

নিউইয়র্ক স্টেটের রাজধানী আলবানির কেন্দ্রস্থলে অবস্থিত স্টেট ক্যাপিটাল চত্বর হলো একটি মনোমুগ্ধকর ও ঐতিহাসিক স্থান, যেখানে স্থাপত্যশৈলী, প্রশাসনিক গুরুত্ব এবং সংস্কৃতির অপূর্ব সমন্বয় দেখা যায়। রাজকীয় স্টেট ক্যাপিটাল বিল্ডিং, দ্য এগ কনসার্ট হল, এম্পায়ার স্টেট প্লাজা, এবং জটিল ভাস্কর্যগুলো একসাথে মিলে গড়ে তুলেছে এক অনন্য সাংস্কৃতিক পরিবেশ। প্রতিদিন অসংখ্য পর্যটক, কর্মজীবী ও স্থানীয় বাসিন্দা এখানে এসে বিশ্রাম নেন, ছবি তোলেন এবং বিভিন্ন উৎসব বা অনুষ্ঠান উপভোগ করেন। বিশেষ করে ৪ জুলাইয়ের আতশবাজির রাত এই চত্বরকে রূপ দেয় এক স্বপ্নময় আলোকলোকের নগরীতে।

হাটসন পাড়ের গল্পপাড়া “ট্রয়”

হাডসন পাড়ের ছোট্ট অথচ ইতিহাসঘেরা শহর ট্রয় যেন এক সত্যিকারের গল্পপাড়া। এখানে প্রতিটি ইট-পাথরের মাঝে লুকিয়ে আছে শিল্প, সাহিত‍্য আর শ্রমজীবনের অনন্য স্মৃতি। একসময় আমেরিকার শিল্প বিপ্লবের প্রাণকেন্দ্র হিসেবে পরিচিত ট্রয় আজও ধরে রেখেছে তার অতীত ঐতিহ্যকে। হাডসনের শান্তজল এখানে ছুঁয়ে যায় লাল ইটের পুরনো ভবনগুলোকে, আর অলিগলি ঘুরে বেড়ানো মানুষ যেন একেকটা জীবন্ত কাহিনি। সাহিত্যপ্রেমী, শিল্পীরা একে বলে থাকেন “গল্পপাড়া ট্রয়”। যেখানে প্রতিটি সন্ধ্যা একেকটি গল্পের জন্ম দেয়।
