I don’t know if you heard. This erstwhile Anglophile (Brexit killed that) first swapped Manhattan island for the British isles when I launched the Walford Gazette in 1992 with Dan Abramson (rip) in 1992. The quarterly tabloid ran its course for me after I published the 100th issue in 2017. And now I’ve swapped Manhattan again for another island: Iceland to launch with 3 friends Thermal Beets Records, the country’s first record factory since 1985.
