| Migrant Arrested in Virginia After Broad Daylight Abduction of 3-Year-Old Girl

Andres Caceres Jaldin, a 26-year-old migrant with no fixed address, was arrested at a hotel in Fairfax, Virginia, after allegedly abducting a 3-year-old girl in broad daylight.

The incident occurred at Fair Oaks Mall, where authorities say Jaldin observed the toddler briefly wandering away from her parents near a play area. He then picked her up and began walking toward the second level of the mall. One of the child’s parents noticed and quickly intervened, preventing the abduction.

Earlier that same morning, Jaldin had reportedly stolen a vehicle, which ultimately led police to locate him. Officers found the stolen car in the hotel parking lot, leading to his arrest.
