The things we are
I am learning to accept where I am and to trust that everything is happening FOR me..
I am learning not to judge situations and people or things because everyone and everything is exactly what we are.
We ALL are connected. We ALL share similar parts of being, no matter how “bad”. So we ALL have to accept that.
While I’m processing this, Hurricane Sandy hit NYC and shut down parts of Jersey, Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan and while ALL of these parts are far and seemingly “disconnected” to where I am in safe and sound Harlem… The damages cost ALL of us to be stagnant. No transportation, no internet, no school, no work…we are ALL shut down. Which effected other parts of the US and ALL over the WORLD.
So somehow, some way we ALL share a connection and even if that connection is a result of something damaging, deathly, upsetting and disgraceful..it still reflects who, what and where we ALL are.
I am learning to embrace the things we are.

Full Circle.
Its funny how things happen. Its like you start one place expecting to be at another, but sometimes you end up pretty much where you started.
This happened to me.
Not fully, I mean, I am not really where I started..but it feels that way. God is trying to teach me something. There is something that I was suppose to get over 5 years ago that I am am still learning. I think I am in this familiar place for a purpose, but this time I am ready to accept whatever God is leading me to.
Life happens in circles. Small circles that everyone travels in, from conception to dissipation. circles. We live in a circle, are surrounded by a circle, think in circles :)…what does it all mean?

I am learning to follow, even if it brings me back to a place that I’ve been before. But hoping that this time, my circle is expanding to a bigger and more full experience!

I came to win.
I wasn’t called here to get lost in a sea of mediocrity, but to thrive. One thing about this God journey…the chase requires a certain ferociousness. Even though he makes himself available to us in so many ways, he asks for all of us. And he wants us to come after Him, just like he has come after us.
‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind”-Luke 10:27.
Love takes commitment and sacrifice. And loving Him with all my heart, soul, strength and mind? Think about it. That’s EVERYTHING. If we want to truly live the life he has created us to live, we will need to adopt that mindset/attitude of relentlessness. The heart of a fighter, a winner.
I’m not there yet. But I am praying for this type of passion. I desire him enough, to keep asking for a double-dose of desire until I get it. It’s like my spirit will never give up, until I experience him fully on this earth. I remember my younger days…When I could feel him almost everyday. I saw miracles, prayed like warrior and could hear his voice. Before I could drive, I was pouring out my heart to God. He set the foundation then. And now, I will never quit until I go beyond that. New levels in Christ.
I want more now. Not material things, but dreamy things. Purpose things. Maybe that has tripped me up a bit. So I am back on the track of falling back in love with my first love. I will ferociously chase my Father.
