Kudos to partner West Africa Biodiversity and Climate Change Program for showing how comic books can be a tool to build a new generation of conservation heroes! The second book in their comic series, “Into The Jungle: A Rescue Mission in Kabiti” tells the real story of wildlife trafficking in West Africa, but with a creative twist using the region’s endangered animals as both heroes and villains. This weaves an engaging story sure to inform and entertain both kids and adults. Communications products such as these are critical to making people more aware of the scale of wildlife trafficking. It is a billion-dollar industry threatening our biodiversity, our economies, our livelihoods, and our security.
