Making Radio, Making Sense
Meet our incredible Mozambique team behind Ouro Negro! 👋
📻 Making Radio, Making Sense:
Challenges in Mozambique include gender inequality, poor access to education, child marriage, poor sexual and reproductive health and rights, and a lack of adequate nutrition. Using a radio drama and a trans-media multi-platform approach, we aim to disseminate a wide range of messages and interact with audiences in many languages.
The InTxunáveis radio drama tells the story of a group of adolescent students and the villagers of Nguva, led by their traditional leader Sirene. The storyline addresses adolescent sexual and reproductive health, child marriage, maternal and child health, nutrition, WASH, early childhood development, education, and other topics.

To ensure the safety of our staff, partners and clients, our NYC office has been working from home since Monday due to the COVID-19 outbreak. A tradition of ours is our daily exercise, so we've improvised a little using Microsoft Teams Intelligent Communications to maintain our healthy habits and to keep ourselves active, even when in isolation at home!
What are you doing to keep yourself active during isolation? Do you have any ideas for us?
