Today is the 10-year anniversary of the deaths of photojournalist David Gilkey and journalist and interpreter Zabihullah (Zabi) Tamanna. While on assignment in southern Afghanistan for NPR, they were killed in an ambush.

They were there telling important and deeply human stories.

Will Ferrell joined Peter Sagal on stage and surprised the legendary Bill Kurtis, for one of his final shows before officially hanging up his headphones this month. Fun fact: Bill served as the iconic narrator of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
