NYC Center For Black Pride

Black Pride teaches the HISTORY of Khnumhotep and Niankhkhnum. They were ancient royal servants who shared the title “Overseer of the Manicurists in the Palace of King Niuserre.” The two men are depicted on their joint tomb in one of the most intimate poses allowed by Egyptian artistic conventions: face to face, with their noses touching. Niankhkhnum means “joined to life” and Khnumhotep means “joined to the blessed state of the dead;” together their names mean “joined in life and death.” They are believed by most archeologists to be the first same-sex couple in recorded history. The picture shows a detail from their tomb dating to around 2350 BC

It’s 2019 and the places that should be a refuge for black gay and bisexual men, aren’t. But, whenever there’s an obstacle, we always rise to the occasion. Prepare to immerse yourself in an experience for us, by us, with us at the helm. Black Gay Blog is an international health, entertainment, and lifestyle portal for black gay and bisexual men. While the rest of the world works to iron out the LGBT+ experience; Black Gay Blog is a great starting point for our own community of black gay and bisexual men.

From an early review of The Fourth Courier that was largely overlooked in the run-up to actual publication. “All the characters are distinctive and interesting, even the minor ones. There’s some steamy sex. And, the settings, from a drably elegant hotel, to a seedy bar in the bowels of the train station, to the wasteland near the river, put you right in the scene.” -- Crime Fiction Lover A black gay CIA agent is the real hero.
