This remarkable suite is more than luxury — it’s a story of vision, resilience, and innovation. Over 10 years in the making, the project overcame immense engineering challenges, statutory hurdles, and rising construction costs during Beijing’s Olympic boom.
Today, it stands as a masterpiece recognised with international awards — and through my lens, I had the privilege of capturing its elegance and spirit.

I recently had the chance to explore low-light techniques inside Bistro 8, and the experience was as rich visually as it was creatively.

Designed by Minoru Oyamatsu of Oyamatsu Design Studio in Tokyo, the restaurant's colorful interiors and thoughtful use of space made it an ideal setting for artistic interpretation. With 40 seats, a cozy bar, and a sound system built by Kazunori Taguchi using Arctic birch trees aged over a century, Bistro 8 offers an experience that’s both modern and soulful.

A true gem on Calle Ocho.

Thornbury Castle is one of the most unique stays in England—built in the 1500s, it has welcomed monarchs and dukes through its stone corridors and tapestry halls.

Today, guests can enjoy croquet on the lawn, falconry displays in the gardens, or simply sip afternoon tea under ancient beams.
